[Ottawa] [Hybrid & Remote Options] [Part-Time: 10-15 hrs+/week]

About the Opportunity

As an administrative assistant, you’ll be our team’s go to support system tackling everything from administrative tasks to reception, business development, client onboarding, staff bookkeeping support and more. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to keep everything moving. The position will allow for a hybrid combination of in office and working from home as needs require.

Your Duties & Responsibilities

Administration & Management

  • Answering phones
  • Assisting with accounts receivable
  • Bookkeeping support for professional staff
  • Onboarding new staff
  • Planning and coordinating staff events
  • Participating in various marketing duties
  • Other projects as needed

Client Support

  • Entering new clients in our project management system
  • Scheduling meetings, typing, editing, and proofing documents
  • Additional client relations tasks as needed

Your Skills & Experience

Essential Assets

  • University degree or college diploma in business administration or related field
  • Two years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Skill for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and staff
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills
  • Able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Other Preferred Assets

  • QuickBooks Online / Desktop experience
    Project-management tool experience such as Asana and/or Monday.com
    Bookkeeping experience
